Kakariki karaka (orange-fronted parakeet) from New Zealand is critically endangered (about 300 to 450 in the wild). They are under threat from introduced mammalian predators. These guys are safe inside a 14km pest-proof fence. #addbirder #thebrookwaimāramasanctuary #NZnature
