We recently had so much fun talking about bees with around 60 kiddos at Tree Hill Learning in Camas! We love bringing pollinator science to young learners and helping spark a lifelong curiosity about nature.

Late summer is long-horned bee season, and we’re excited to see so many Melissodes species!

Look for them visiting asters, goldenrods, sunflowers, tarweeds, and other members of the Asteraceae family.
