If there's one place in Kingston that #OughtToBeHaunted, it's the Frontenac County Courthouse. Prisoners were held in the adjacent jail while awaiting the gallows there. The jail was demolished in 1973, but souls are harder to banish, especially when their mortal remains lie beneath the parking lot.

The city's failure to increase the number of pools as the city grows means two companies in Orléans have built their own pools just to teach kids to swim.
Registration issues are the symptom. Insufficient investment in pools is due to extremely low taxes.
Set a higher tax cap target.

I hear it all the time from families with young kids: finding a spot in swimming lessons is a real challenge. That’s why I’ve outlined a plan to increase access to swimming lessons, expand opportunities for children and make registration easier for families.
