I hate that fucking talking point. Get rid of one person and fix everything. That's a made-up position to make people believe that's how it works. They do this so people hear it, believe it, and then the establishment can move on with the status quo intact. Not this time.

Corporate profits have doubled from 6% of GDP to 12.4%. That's roughly an additional $2 trillion that historically would have gone to paychecks that is now being routed strictly to shareholders and CEOs. I wonder why we can’t afford anything anymore.

this guy got caught because he's dumber than the average cop and chose a woman who wasn't marginalized enough. imagine what happens when a cop does this to, say, a sex worker or a woman with previous charges who are not likely to be willing to report this kind of thing. what do you think happens
