Mamdani criticizes Netanyahu. Later, a crazy man stabs a Jewish man and an Asian man. And we get an article suggesting that while one stabbing (dismissed in six words) is just a shrug, the other implicates the mayor. Disgraceful framing. Shame on everyone involved. www.nytimes.com/2026/07/24/n...

1/ Here's what we too rarely talk about when a man seeking high office is credibly accused of sexual misconduct. Platner, Swalwell, Kavanaugh, Thomas—these men almost always have the option to keep the allegations private.

They almost never take it.

This is really not going well
I keep refreshing in the hopes of seeing that Platner has dropped out. Wake me when it happens?

There’s so much awful stuff happening and I get that this isn’t the worst but kudos to @ronlieber.bsky.social for staying on this story about the latest institutions (Fidelity, Vanguard, Schwab) caving to the corrupt regime.
UPDATE: Bank of America/Merrill Lynch and Daffy have NOT cut off the Southern Poverty Law Center the way Schwab/Fidelity/Vanguard did. BOA/ML stance: The IRS hasn't taken away SPLC's tax exempt status. S/F/V stance: Well, they've been indicted and that's our standard. www.nytimes.com/2026/05/01/b...
