There have been no internal communication between the Mayor, OCTranspo, the City Manager, or Metrolinx about the LRT upload to the Province.

The guy in charge of this doesn't sound very effecrive.

Did you get out to vote today yet? If not, what are you waiting for? You have until 8pm tonight for the final day of special advance voting in the municipal election!

If you can't make today, make sure you set aside time on the 16th or 26th (final voting day) to vote!

It's time to vote for better transit!

Jeff Leiper is the only mayoral candidate with a serious plan to fix OC Transpo and get our transit system working again.

Early voting is October 1st to 4th, and October 16th. The main election day is October 26th.

Visit ottawa.ca/vote for more information.

It was nice to see BTO and our bus data mentioned at the Student Mayoral Debate yesterday

Transit is an election issue

We need to see candidates pushing for a more reliable transit system via transit priority, accurate scheduling, and a system with the resources it needs to make these big reforms

The new fall schedules are now released. Use our website to see what's changed.

You can compare the fall schedules to the summer schedules, as well as the fall schedules to last sprint.

Last week, OC Transpo implemented huge service cuts on weekends

OC Transpo says that "A summer preventative maintenance program” is a reason

But, we’ve been tracking every bus in operation by OC Transpo for the past several months, and there is no significant decrease in buses used on the weekend
July 9, 2026 at 8:17 PM
OC Transpo weekend service is about to be decimated starting this Sunday in the upcoming summer schedule.

Check out our new tool at bettertransitottawa.ca to see the extent of the cuts and if a trip you rely on will be affected.

Hey, councillor @timtierney.ca Reminder that democratic participation doesn't rely on which ward someone comes from. They bring genuine concerns.

@bettertransitottawa.ca has done something you haven't done: ask questions and identify what can be done to improve service. Not just slogans.

The City of Ottawa released a report regarding compensation for transit users.

One of the main ways they identified to make the service better in the short term was transit priority measures, one of the cheapest ones identified was continuous bus lanes!

This is cheap and easy, do it now!

Yesterday a last minute walk-on motion undid years of planning from city staff, which sought feedback from thousands of residents from all across the city. This makes people lose trust in our system.

If you want to help plan to fix this, join us tonight at our monthly meeting.
