This is exactly why I'm done with corporat centrist Democratic politicians. Still listening to consultants who have lost them many elections vs actually speaking their own constituents. Now they have to pay the "influencers" to push a message and continue to ignore their own voters.

Next time people want to shit all over Floridians and post the bugs bunny meme, think about how the state has been in GOP control for over 20 yrs. When voters try to unfuck the system, the GOP just ignores them and overrides it anyway. This is in addition to gerrymandering, ghost candidates, etc.
Reminder that Florida voters passed a Constitutional amendment in 2010 banning gerrymandering with 62% of the vote and the Florida GOP just stole the courts and ignored it. By contrast retaliatory gerrymanders in CA and VA passed with the approval of voters. Yet media portrays them as equivalent.
Florida's new congressional map is officially on the books.
The map aims to pick up 4 Democratic-held seats, which would expand the GOP's edge across Florida's 28 district from 🔴20-8🔵 to 🔴24-4🔵.
