#VisionZeroBoston is a marathon, not a sprint, and we need action today on multiple fronts. While citiies like Somerville have had multiple years without a traffic fatality, Boston has been going backwards

Write the mayor and city council today. Tell them that safe streets can't wait bcu.bike/sscw

It’s been two months since we lost Louisa Gag to traffic violence. Is Tremont St any safer today? The answer is evidently not.

Residents have taken it upon themselves to improve Tremont St. Now, City Council is noticing.

This is good coverage on Wu's backpedaling and broken promises on safer streets. The reporter asks her point blank about her "dangerously underwhelming" plans and she starts up with word salad

I know I don't feel safe enough to bike in Boston

I've seen enough. The Cummins "Highway" (that name) complete streets redesign is a shining example of what Boston can do when we put people and safety first in our priorities in street design

Sidewalk level bikeway, raised crossings, new trees, traffic circle slowing down drivers. Beautiful & safer

Repaving Dot Ave, and bike lane is very clearly marked, but wish Boston would just figure out what cities around the world have and put bike lane next to the curb, then street parking, then traffic lane. Protected bike lane for just the cost of some paint

Do it, Boston.

No one has the right to torment neighbors with engine noise.
Boston’s considering noise cameras: Look inside the tech already monitoring loud cars in Newport, RI
The cameras capture the license plates of vehicles that exceed a certain decibel level, and the driver then receives a fine in the mail.
