I don't go down this road often because Bluesky doesn't need one more of me. But here goes: I've never met @lawrenceodonnell.bsky.social, but we've been in a few of the same rooms since the fall of 1975. That said, his "A" Block tonight was a closing argument for the People vs. Donald Trump. Bravo.

[September 12th, 1986] Actor Frank Nelson, a founding member of AFTRA and a key figure in establishing actor pension plans, died Friday at his Hollywood, California home. A charter member of Jack Benny's radio and television family, he was 75 and had been battling cancer for several years.

Hey, @santorinidreaming.bsky.social, you were there. How great was that Yale secondary back then? (And of course, the one guy who didn't play there, WR Gary Fencik, had a 12-year NFL career as a safety.)
Steve Skrovan, who after he was an All-Ivy DB at Yale and before he was the #2 guy at "Everybody Loves Raymond" was an underrated stand-up who did a bit about how Earth Wind and Fire had one guy who only did this: "Yow...." #AT40
