Congratulations Dr. Achorn and it is an honor to join you and the rest of the Cobb Prof Dev Grant awardees. I cannot put into words how seeing Dr. Cobb next to my name is so meaningful, knowing he paved the way for Black anthropologists. Thank you to the #aaba2026 as well.
I am so incredibly honored and grateful to have received a Cobb Professional Development Grant from the American Association of Biological Anthropologists to fund research on bone proteomes and skeletal pathologies in nonhuman primates! 🐒🦴 Congrats to the other recipients too!! #AABA2026
