Franzi Schimmer captured this Grizzly bear in Brooks Falls, Alaska just floating along, tippy-tapping down the river, browsing the salmon.

Prior to hibernation, up to 40% of a bear's body mass is fat, which is less dense than water (~0.9 g/cm^2), so the murder-monster is also a floaty-boaty.

New "fibsh catcher" on Etsy! Cutthroat trout with gold finishes, shiny peridot and pink beads - check it out!

#handmade #suncatcher #crafts #art #bsnm

alaskanime.etsy.com/listing/4548718954/fishing-lure-sun-catcher-rainbow-maker?variation0=7065317040
A sun catcher made from an articulated fishing lure. The fish looks like a realistic cutthroat trout in breeding colors and where the leaders and hooks would go are instead replaced with crystal-studded arms ending in golden brass pendants and icicle crystals. The center arm, the longest one, features a trout being caught by a fishing pole as the pendant.

🌁🧱🚗🚸
Setting takes place in eerie and foggy highway with looming dark clouds. In the center of the highway is Ultra Beast called Stakataka a walking sentient pile of brick crossing through the highway with both sides filled with pine trees. On the road a lone car stops in front Stakataka hoping they won't be crushed by this alien creature.

Several weeks ago, Phil Tippett's legendary animation studio in Berkeley, CA closed. An anonymous hero noticed a folder of CDs. This turned out to be hundreds of unseen hi-res images and videos from Star Wars, Robocop, Jurassic Park, etc. ~90 isos for you to browse:

archive.org/details/tipp...
A casual Star Wars alien fella at the cantina, in a sun faded, reddish photo. Someone will be mad at me for not knowing who this is. Phil, a balding Caucasian man, poses a model of the garthok, an antagonist from the Coneheads movie. Phil, a balding caucasian man, points at some CG on a CRT computer monitor, as a younger man looks on. The screen shows a model of a dinosaur attacking a jeep, while there's an actual physical model of that event in the foreground for reference. an isolated shot of a star wars vehicle. Sorry, I don't know star wars lol

#639 Terrakion
Illustration of Terrakion. We're looking up at the Pokémon, who has its left leg up in the air like it's ready to take a step or stomp on the ground. Its head is held up but its eyes look down to our left, its mouth is closed in an imposing expression.

'tis the season of art prompt lists. i made my own list for OC-tober this year! 🎨 have fun with it. feel free to do as much or as little as you want, repeat the same prompts multiple times, combine with other lists, whatever is fun for you!

#OC-tober #OC-tober2026 #OCsky
TITLE: OC-Tober Art Prompts Description: it's OC-tober, the perfect excuse to spend the whole month drawing your original characters. you can approach these prompts with whatever degree of seriousness and effort you want. this isn't a legally binding list of obligations, it's just ideas to get the gears turning! the list: • finish an unfinished piece (maybe even more than one) • design a new character, or finish an unfinished design • rework a character design that needs some polish • design a movie poster or a magazine cover • draw a single-page comic or short storyboard • draw your OCs in an alternate universe • draw your OCs in another art style • find a blank art meme/challenge to do • draw something you find difficult, using your OC • draw an OC at a different age than you usually do • redraw a scene from a movie or TV show with OCs • draw an OC cosplaying one of the characters that inspired their design • redraw a childhood drawing of an OC • draw two OCs interacting who you haven't before • play with alternate color palettes Footnote: re-interpret however you want or combine with other lists! the only rules are have fun, take care of your wrists, and don't use AI.
