This small species is a subspecies to the Volmikki~ One of the species in our headworld that do speak/have their own court agency~ Though the Virrisai cannot speak, they do make gestures & noises. They communicate with each other through whistling & clicking. Almost like a song underwater.

I wish I could get paid to be insane about my characters more. And settle down to make infographics and a headworld encyclopedia that isn’t totally disjointed.

Tempted to make a very tiny little server for my friends to talk about OCs and stuff,, just a lil zone to share headworld stuff since I'm pretty reclusive but I miss sharing some things and doing character interactions.

did i mention the whole of dragon age itself heavily inspired my storytelling/worldbuilding direction for my current fantasy headworld (the one Rhys exists in)
DA will always inspire my work in so many ways than one. be it art, story, characters, etc. i literally hate you so much EA.

lrp: i was there for the 2015 dragon age tumblr renaissance but regrettably didn't make a lot of fanart of my inky at a the time, as i felt my skills were lacking then. even up to now, i've yet to draw enough DA fanart. but just because EA gutted bioware doesn't mean that'll stop me now.

this entire headworld/cast exists because i was SO enamored by the concept of space pirates when i was 13 (i had recently watched firefly) 😭 one of my fav tropes forever. I pulled my crew back to just doing unlicensed salvage though since actual piracy is like. bleak.

Even if it's unintentional, chances are, there are genre tropes in your WIP. Try to identify one (a good starting point can be thinking about elements that could draw comparisons to other stories). How does the trope work in your story?

An October Prompt Game of Miscellaneous Proportions
TUESDAY TROPES
[Graphic of an old man wanderer, with a sack on his back and a long walking stick, and a black cat]
Prompt:
20 | Tell us about a genre-specific trope in your WIP. Which trope is it, and how does it function in the story? How do you utilize, and perhaps subvert, expected patterns? Feel free to share a snip.
[Graphic of a talking crow]
Tropes are essential to the conventions that define each genre. Fantasy tropes include the chosen one, inconvenient prophecies, and the quest. Romance has enemies to lovers, one bed, and fake dating. Mystery? We might see some cursed objects and creepy old houses.

Truly the most damning indictment of fascism that girl could have been actually cosplaying Dangerous Beast instead she got butt-touched by an eldritch abomination beyond her comprehension and is now just stuck larping the child-king larper in some traumatized enbies fucked up headworld.

I'm totally aware how all of it is. The reason mine are closed for character creation is because they're from my headworld, and were never intended to be more than that.
Anyways like I said in your other reply, it's not related to selling the characters at all. Just that they are the subject.

Hey, y'all! I'm BHO. I'm a versatile artist, who has specialised in wildlife, animal and creature art, but I like to dip my toes into almost anything.
I work with traditional and analogue media alike. My favourite genre is #sciencefantasy

Highlights from my recent trip to the Big Island of Hawaii!
I was there primarily for a science conference, but I stayed a few extra days to explore some of the natural wonders. So much inspiration for tropical dwelling wyverns in my headworld!
