I have never, not once, seen a pregnancy ruin someone's life. Even the most unprepared/irresponsible people tend to figure it out and end up basically fine. It's often their sole tether to adulthood.
Because imagine getting pregnant by accident in a state where termination is illegal, and you're suddenly in a very vulnerable position physically and financially, staring down single parenthood, and OOPS you live in a childfree apartment so you're about to be evicted too

I might start treating 9/11 the same way I treat racism, the Holocaust, slavery, etc: pretending I've never heard of it. People invoke these things in ridiculous contexts, and the act of explaining them mid-discussion tends to demonstrate the silliness.

I want the Prime Minister to look into a TV camera and say the RNLI are heroes, that we do not change policy by street violence in this country, and that he expects any criminal action to face the full force of the law. That's it. That's all he has to do.

I love getting glimpses into the online "ADHD community," which is basically a massive narcissistic whining competition for people who have shirked all responsibility to the point that they no longer consider themselves participants in their own happiness. Lots of "disabled" people do this as well.
