i have a story about being shit on during 9/11, the media, & direct care that feels relevant right now:
i was just 9yo at the time.
my family was visiting relatives in new jersey, we had actually visited the towers on 9/9/01 as part of our nyc day trip.
i remember being woken up too early.

Last RT: The article talks about the way that generational guilt informs Nolan's work. That is fascinating to me, and I wonder if and how that changes along racial lines. Because as a black woman I feel guilt that my generation has squandered the amazing gifts our elders provided us.

I would love to see how a black director of Nolan's age (X/Millennial) would tackle a classic work with similar themes. A director whose generational guilt flows in the opposite direction.

I don’t want this point to be lost in the discourse. Going digital-only means inequity for people who cannot afford internet or constantly purchasing new games. Libraries provide opportunities for people to experience games they otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford, and that will be lost.
My child loves going to the library and checking out a new video game every week. Going digital only eliminates libraries as a way people can access games.
