Deeply saddened by the devastating flash floods in the Himalayan regions of Nepal and China. Our thoughts are with the victims, their families, and the rescue teams. Austria stands in solidarity with the affected communities.

Russia's recent attacks in #Ukraine affecting @UN_Ukraine and @RedCrossUkraine facilities are utterly unacceptable. They violate #IHL and add to the devastating civilian toll of Russia's war of aggression. Humanitarian organisations must be able to assist those most in need. @UNICEF_UA @WFPUkraine

Austria stands firmly behind the International Criminal Court. The Court is a key actor in ensuring accountability for the worst atrocity crimes and bringing justice to victims, and should be able to carry out its mandate under the Rome Statute without undue interference.
