Great article about Dan Sullivan’s support for Trump tariffs and how he tries to avoid talking about the issue with Alaskans. His own brother calls it “tariff craziness” that is raising inflation. Alaskans get it!

Section 13-301 of the Charter says the City must convene a Charter Commission "from time to time, but no less frequently than every 10 years."

Can't be stressed enough that speeding is the number one reason people are killed by cars and speed cameras are the fastest most effective way to quickly stop speeding. (Road calming redesign can be effective but is not quick/cheap)

Good but for only one year is silly. Absurd to increase taxes now to fund a program that only under the worst case would have a possible shortfall in 2039.

Using potential tax revenue that could be used for very pressing needs (Trimet for example) to sit in restricted funds for years is bad policy

Gas price in rural Alaska. Only reason gas is at $9.99 is gauge can't go higher. Projected to be $12 to $15.
