Just had a David Attenborough experience.
Taking a longer path to the dog park, and a Cooper hawk flew about 10 paces in front of us and dropped this decapitated squirrel on the sidewalk.

Gas must be cheap again. Saw 11 different cars idling at the park yesterday, with parents just chilling waiting for their kids to practice football.

#15 has been working on his game all summer. He’s been scrimmaging against Raptors/Jr Canes/Bears/Outlaws; opponents 2-3 levels above him. Been doing laps at the pool, garage pucking, & started going to the gym.
He may or may not make advanced House League, but he certainly put on a show this wknd!
