Processing tomato crop from the polythene.
After rendering down tomatoes in oil, salt and pepper, I mouli the liquid and bottle for the freezer. There's always enough for soups, stews etc to last till the next harvest.🌱

Apple pressing again. I’ve noticed the apples are less juicy than usual, probably because of the long dry spell. Other crops like runner beans are much ‘drier’. Has anyone else noticed this? It’s been a funny year for crops.🌱

We came back home to a jungle of runners, but since we refuse to contaminate the palate with huge stringy pods, it's much better to let them fully grow and pod them for the freezer. Delicious. OK you get fewer pods but we've too many anyway.🌱
