Things that made me cry today:
- Muriel's Wedding rewatch
- noticing a teddy bear that hasn't been hugged in years
- several songs by The Chicks

sometimes I feel sad that me and my childhood best friend had a falling out after high school graduation
but then I remember that her primary hobby as an adult is hiking and I don't feel so sad anymore

I cannot stress enough that Neopets Battledome provides the best box opening experience of any TCG. The average quality of the art is exceptional and the hits just keep coming. They have nailed the rarity distribution so that every box feels like a winner but there's still big chases!

Soccer is an unquestionably boring sport
The world cup is a structurally thrilling event
It all comes together to create the perfect thing to watch peripherally while enjoying the other parts of life

I got crazy lucky at Lorcana set champs today, managed to get a promo with only one win 😭 Finished with a record of 2-2 but because I got the bye and had better tie breakers I snuck into 8th place.
Then I bought 2 packs and pulled an enchanted!

I pushed through the Lorcana fog and finally settled on the deck that I will be playing at set champs and a CCQ next month! Turns out Sapphire is a really dynamic ink colour if you give up the ramp package...

Avi Lewis kind of rocks and if he wins the NDP leadership I might consider becoming an official member for the first time
Also I hope he releases a mixtape of all of the amazing Canadian songs that his campaign has used on their social media posts!!!

I accidentally got really busy and left my Christmas decorations up until last week OOPS! But before they went back into hibernation I snapped a photo of the new set of family stockings that I made this year. I don't often get to use my embroidery machine but I always love the results when I do!
