I am declaring today a “want to” day. Doing what I want to do, not what I “should” do. Went to Michael’s & got some Fall decor. Shopped sale/clearance & used a $20 reward, so I only spent $7. Did a curbside grocery pickup. Now, home to piddle, cross stitch, nap - whatever I choose to do.

Got to work before 6 AM. So I was able to leave soon after my testing patient was done. Stopped by a grocer to pick up a few things I can only get there. Came across meat marked down b/c the sell by date was today or tomorrow. Bought several packs. Stew beef. A roast. Couple packs of pork chops.

There’s utility work going on in my neighborhood. And I’m 95% certain they’re installing fiber optic internet. A couple of years ago, ATT installed fiber optic internet in the neighborhood north of me. It stopped 2 blocks from me. Looked exactly like what’s happening now. Oh, please, no more Cox!🤞

I’m having a flare up on an old tailbone injury. My therapy chair makes it worse, because it’s cushy, so I get pressure on the tender area. A firm seat, like a desk chair, is more comfortable. Today, it dawned on me that I could probably fit comfortably in one of the firm seated side chairs in my

Wow. It’s weird what effect small decisions can make. I decided to run a couple of errands this morning instead of swimming because 1) not sure the heater at the pool has been fixed, and 2) I need to do my diuretic therapy today because I’m behind on that. I could certainly use another 3 day weekend. I have a couple of 4 day weekends in November. But I may schedule myself a long weekend in October, once the weather is cooler.
