What's an obscure video game you remember playing at one point that most people would be like "never heard of it"?

The most obscure game I can think of is Dark Rift for N64. It was a really shitty bare-bones fighting game and has the noteriety of being the first ever 60fps game on the N64 lol.

Local Half-Price Books had the goods today! A Pathfinder GM's Screen for CHEAP cheap, the daggum Pathfinder Beta Playtest book, and Final Fantasy 9 baybee!!!
Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Beta Playtest rulebook by Jason Bulmahn. This was released in 2008 at Gen Con and was the second playtest ever released by Paizo and the very first physically published book for Pathfinder. It's a super cool part of Pathfinder's history! Hearing Mike McFarland has passed away. This one hits hard. For anyone who didn't know, Mike was diagnosed with agressive brain cancer last year and had to have emergency brain surgery to remove a tumor.

Rest in Peace Mike. Thank you for being a huge part of my childhood.

We would go to a dinky little place called Cinema One Video. They managed to outlast both the local Blockbuster and Total Video, and finally went under around '08/'09. They were selling their entire stock for $1-$5 each, and I nabbed Godzilla 2000 and a vhs copy of George Pal's War of the Worlds.

Finally picked up and have been playing Digimon Story: Time Stranger for the last few days, and while the gameplay, expanded roster and QoL improvements are all great, I gotta say it's severely lacking in pretty much every other aspect compared to CyberSleuth/Hackers Memory so far. 🧵

A McDonalds Happy Meal toy of Pompompurin in a Gigan suit. Pompompurin is an anthropomorphized chibi-style yellow golden retriever with brown dot eyes wearing a reddish brown beret. Gigan is a weird cross between a featherless chicken and a fish or lizard. He's bipedal with greenscales and a yellow belly with a sawblade protruding from it, three giant sail-like fins on his back(two of which let him fly), and two arms that end in giant metal scythes. His head is the most chicken-like with a metal beak but also two sharp tooth-like mandibles on either side. He has a single Cylon-like horizontal red eye, and three spikes on his head going down towards his back. Pompompurin's face is peaking out of Gigans mouth with his ears poking out the sides of Gigans head, and his beret on top next to Gigans top spike.

Raichu is a large orange kangaroo-mouse-like Poke'mon with yellow cheeks, a white underbelly, two brown stripes on its back and brown "sock" markings on its hands and feet. Crucially, the GLOVE has limitations, chief among them that for the device to work effectively and deliver its restraining pain shock, it must come into contact with the subject's bare skin. According to Compliant Technologies, the gloves won't work through dry clothing or thick hair. The gloves will work, however, if the subject is wearing thin, wet clothing, such as soaked T-shirts or blouses. The GLOVE also does not like being dunked in water and will likely be rendered inoperable if this happens.
