Books. Occasionally movies. Sometimes hockey. Museums and interesting things.

I also like board games and The Sims 4 but don't expect me to write about it.

Orange juice without pulp is unnatural and weird. Go drink milk, if you want something like that. Orange juice should jave pulp.

The lack of official casting news for you know what is homophobic. I need some news!

I respectfully disagree. A lot of people ask what are you reading when they have nothing else to say. And they don't care for an answer.

Based on what I see on reddit (and other places), people long for livejournal. Because if it was still LJ time, people would put their thoughts there and would have no need for all this behavior. No one is interested in your "hot take", CrazyAmberWhale807. Go and vent in your own space.

If there is consistency, it's hockey fans saying "For a really good player I am ready to pay a 2nd round pick and a fourth liner and/or a former good prospect who is 25 now and is basically a bust"
Bracco, Nelson and a 2nd (c) will live forever

Being given a language to think and talk about a certain thing is both a blessing and a curse. When you have words for things, it is so much more difficult to ignore them.

For the last 15 years I have been asking the same question. Why in almost every fic with surrogacy the surrogate is someone close to the future parents (a sister or a close female friend)? Is it something that happens irl to those ficwriters? Are they surrogates to their friends? If not, then why?

To be the kind of person who confidently says "what do you recommend?" and believes recommendations are universal.
I was so fed up with it while working in a chocolate shop. "No, but what do YOU recommend?!" Well, I honestly recommend chocolate with mint or with camambert cheese. "Ew, no, not that!"

If your understanding of a good joke consists of making a person sad by saying something and then revealing it was a lie, reconsider your sense of humor.

What do ficwriters think GM means in a team? Good morning? Because according to them, 135% of all team decisions are made by coaches.

The concept of waiting for actors at the stage door after a show is wild to me. People are crazy in general, why would any actor decide to meet people there?

I refuse to believe different people independently misspell Ottawa as Ottowa (have seen it 5+ times) because it makes no sense. I am even starting to believe this is some kind of weird non funny joke. Still preferable to English writing people not knowing how to spell the capital of a huge country.

Why do so many people think betraying someone's trust is cute and romantic?
"Oh, he should open the translation app on his phone during that call!"
No, he should not.

I really don't understand "thank you for your patience" as a way of guilt tripping me into being patient. I am not patient. I don't want to be patient when you have some problems. So why do you presume I am or should be? Such a stupid way of communicating.

The problem's not that I don't have time for something pleasant (though also that). The problem is that I'm too tired and also have no desire for pleasant things.
Whoever decided that going back to the University would be fun should apologize to me (it was me, I decided that, sorry, me, I was wrong)
