Sorry everyone - no cheesy generative AI April Fools rubbish from us today. How about a lovely view of an April sunrise over the perfectly still broadland waters and whispering reeds instead?

Enjoy and remember to log off and touch some grass (or reeds) today 🤝

Relics of the Broads' past at Upton in the Broads - pictures of what feels like the last time we had any sunshine!

A wonderful area to visit, with plenty to keep the eyes and ears entertained.

Mewing marsh harriers, sail lines clacking and the sound of dry reed blowing in the breeze. #BroadsNP

Norfolk N̶o̶r̶t̶h̶e̶r̶n̶ Lights

This truly impressive display was captured right here over Barton Broad last week.

It's rare the aurora borealis is so visible in our part of the world, but when it does show it's a real treat!

Well done to Jon Kelf on capturing the moment for us all to enjoy.

A superb capture of a Bearded reedling perched up at Hickling Broad ✨

Males sport a bold black ‘moustache’ against soft tawny plumage. These fascinating birds build intricate, globe-shaped nests among reeds near water and often chatter in small flocks outside breeding season.
