Nieuw zijprojectje: Pretparkje.

Omdat wachten in pretparken suckt.

Live wachttijden, historische data en hopelijk ooit een antwoord op de vraag of je nu best vooraan of achteraan in het park begint.

A small little weekend project. Bringing the almost 30-year-old MS Comic Chat to the Mac.

Bringing Microsoft Comic Chat to the Mac using Fable
I asked Claude Fable to port Microsoft Comic Chat to macOS. Two days later, it had revived a 28-year-old piece of my childhood.

Just released v1.1 of CatBar, my menubar revenue tracker for @revenuecat

It adds a daily/weekly/monthly earnings tracker and chart.

Last month I launched CatBar, a little utility that shows your @RevenueCat earnings in your menubar.
I put loads of love into it. It failed miserably.

7 customers. Total.

I was wondering: "what if an LLM could do all the learning I do from inspirational youtube videos".

So I made a skill for that: npx skills add TimBroddin/skills --skill youtube-research

I vibe-coded an MCP server to query Astro's (tryastro.app) ASO data. It's great for getting deeper insights into ranking changes, ratings, and discovering what keywords to focus on.

Feel free to try it: github.com/TimBroddin/a...

I've been working on v2.0 of my simple text editor for iOS called TxtEdit. New features include tabs, line numbers & speed 💨.

v1 was pure Swift/Storyboards.
v2 will be a weird Frankenstein mix of Expo/RN for UI and Swift modules for the editor/file handling and it's really working extremely well.

Wat is er met Two Gallants gebeurd?
Van om de vijf botten op een podium en festival, naar poef niks meer. Geen aankondiging, gewoon ergens tien jaar geleden opgegaan in rook in Las Crucias Jail.

I don’t get all the hate @theverge.com is getting for asking money for a subscription. They’ve been my favorite tech publication since day 1 - and $50/year seems like peanuts considering what they’re giving back.

Week 8 of my sabbatical, where I hit a wall.

(The wall is doing fine)
Life after Automattic: Week 8
Released Endgame 1.1 with home screen widgets, saw Lijsje growing to 60+ lists daily, took a break to explore Antwerp's sewers, and remembered what sabbaticals are about.
