The past 5 weeks: intense work, a wedding, travel (Minnesota, camping in Northern Iowa, and Detroit 3 times), birthdays, dog sitting for family, and hosting friends from outta town. With Hockey + Golf leagues and Chicago next weekend… this ass is deadass dead.

Tonight, I drove over the back of a 300 yard green, somehow hit a 5-iron 250 yards, and stuck a green over the trees with my 4-iron from the rough of the wrong fairway.. 216 out.
I made stupid mistakes along the way, but also had some hero shit. 1-over after 4, 5-over after 9. Felt pretty good.

Had the best feeling round of golf that I’ve had in a very long time tonight. Took it easy, thought about my grandma a lot and finished the round with 2 eagle putt opportunities. I made neither, but still scored well.
