Been watching Ted Lasso and it's obviously problematic in many ways (and indeed shit in others. I'm not sure which category Tracey Ulman falls into). But having a whole episode in which everyone pronounces 'clique' wrong really took me close to binning it completely.

Put some more tunes on SoundCloud after a year. There are now 4 (four). Not that it matters because I don't share the link.

How about a maximum wealth limit. Any assets of >500m are forfeit, with a letter from HMRC just saying 'You'd only be a dick'.

Seems like all the BlueSky smartarses are disbelieving everything Burnham has said except the bit about no early election.

He seems to be doing this quite well

People really will project their prejudices and preconceptions onto bloody anything won't they. I blame chemtrails.

So reading between the lines, late-night farmer fucked up an intelligence-driven operation and spooked some terrorists so three of them escaped?

@psbhq.bsky.social last nihght were great, and god knows how they got the sound so good in Ally Pally. But main question is whether the date was picked because there was a full moon?

In Islingtion, and tempted to go to the Hope and Anchor just because I’ve been listening to old music recorded there. But the Hope and Anchor is a bit shit, so I hope I will avoid it.

Finance version of curtains for Zoosha, I guess.

You know how everyone always says 'going forward' is shit meetingspeak and there are better ways to say it? I'm stuck trying to find a synonym for an agenda which isn't just 'from now'.

Seem to be unable to turn off 'AI' prompts in Messages on computer. Which is annoying, but it just wants me to write 'The horror of it all’ in every message. So fair enough.

Post-equinox, and yet it looks like shorts weather in London on Friday.

Had a 10 minute noodle yesterday afternoon and listening back it's not shit. If I still have the use of my fingers by the time I'm retired, I think that's how I'll spend my time.

I thought the brain thing had been known for ages. Unless it's something technical about what constitutes an 'organ'. (Add Kenneth Williams to taste).

Jim Ratcliffe being given time on the radio for some reason. When will the government take action to address the billionaire problem?

Have to attend a social event with colleagues at the weekend. I mean, I do like them, but I also like to compartmentalise

Slightly disappointing that Apple have removed the free trial of Logic (and broken existing installation). On the other hand, you can see their point.

I assumed this was a joke, but all the replies seem to be taking it seriously.
My main view on the countryside is that if it's so nice and lovely why do the majority of human beings live in cities
A pretty load-bearing dynamic across the west is how this reality is pretty much verboten to point out

Impressed that Oasis are doing a tour of intimate grass roots venues.

Tbf to Burnham, he’s got a much harder job than me, and probably much less free time, but managed GNR in substantially less time.

Farage's latest noncecoin mate saying he'll even return to the UK, if he really has to, to ensure he can corrupt its politics. I fucking loathe these people.

Perturbed to notice that No One Cares About Your Creative Hub so Get Your Fuckin' Hedge Cut is already 8 years old.

Saxony-Anhalt and Essex. Starting to think there's something rum about those Saxons.

If my payscale had kept pace with inflation from when I started this job 13 years ago, I'd be on 12 grand more than I am. That's quite annoying.
