It was a beautiful, nearly cloudless Tuesday morning as I drove to the office. I usually had the late, great WCBS 880 on the radio to get the traffic reports, but instead I played Quadrophenia on the stereo. A mile or two before I got to the office, the traffic slowed down for no apparent reason.
