Geralt of Rivia ⚔️🐺

#Geralt #Witcher #Wiedzmin #fanart
A digital painting of Geralt of Rivia - a video game character and a book character from The Witcher series. The illustration imitates oil painting with a frame, showing Geralt’s stern face and piercing yellow eyes. He has a wolfsbane flower in his hair.

why have imposter syndrome over creating art when some people need to beg the environment destroying plagiarism machine to do it for them

"We built the library. Someone else started charging admission."

This is what I hear when someone says, "Don't get left behind." It's more of a Gold Rush than anything else. They mean if you don't make the move to (literally) take advantage of others' work first, someone else will.
Tweet from Suraj Sharma on June 20, 2026. Bro I'm so sick of pretending this isn't weird. The internet spent 20 years creating tutorials, open-source projects, blog posts & answers for free. Al companies turned all of it into products worth billions. And now the same people who created that knowledge are being told they're replaceable. We built the library. Someone else started charging admission.

An inforgraphic for The Traitor & The Wretch (cover art by Amy Phillips) written by Jasmine Walls and illustrated by Rowan MacColl. It reads: Minor villains dungeon-crawling their way to a happy ending. On the run from an entire kingdom that wants them both dead. This guy (the wretch) helped raise a Chaos God to bring about the end times (he's not coping well) This guy (the traitor) tried to kill the Prophesized Hero (it ended badly) Enemies-to-Lovers Mutated cave creatures! Undead horrors! Endless pitch black caves! Somehow, it's a romance! An infographic showing the cover for This Mortal Coil (art by Jan and Vlad Schwardts) that reads: What's a skeleton to do when they outlive their wizard overlord? Go on a quest they are wildly unqualified for, apparently This novella can fit so many illustration in it. Evil wizards, corrupt kings, vengeful spirits, and one very tired skeleton. Includes: a magic sword with a mid-life crisis. No romance! We're not even sure they count as friends, honestly. Pre-order now at bonedustpress.com

IMPORTANT: For any artists/writers/etc etc, using Linktree to point people to their work, from 5 July, they'll be feeding all imagery you use on your landing page into DALL-E by OpenAI.

I deleted my account this morning.

We have updated our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Notice AI Features on Linktree An overview of Linktree's AI features How AI features work AI features on Linktree generate results (called Output) based on information provided to the system (called Input). Input may include things like: Text prompts you enter e.g. asking questions within our Insight Chats feature. Content you upload or add to your Linktree like images or videos e.g. uploading a profile image and using our Restyle AI feature. Information available on the Linktree platform and from your profile including your links e.g. AI generated link titles or AI generated bios. Links you submit to create your Linktree. Information provided by third-party services e.g. authenticating with Instagram so that we can analyse your social media data and provide you with social analytics. The AI system uses this Input to generate Output, which may include text, images, analytics and profile insights or recommendations depending on the feature. https://linktr.ee/help/en/articles/9269822-ai-features-on-linktree?lid=g3hnv8kr9765 Which AI model does Linktree use and why? What is Linktree doing to keep Linkers, visitors, and creators safe? Linktree uses DALL-E 3, provided by OpenAI, to create brand-new custom avatar or thumbnail images. With Linkers and visitors’ safety as a priority, Linktree performs its own reviews of AI-generated content on the platform to ensure compliance with our Community Standards and ethical AI practices. OpenAI’s commitment to safety and transparency aligns with Linktree’s values and Trust & Safety efforts. For example: OpenAI’s policies explicitly forbid usage that might result in harm to oneself or others, e.g. “to defraud, scam, spam, mislead, bully, harass, defame, discriminate based on protected attributes, sexualize children, or promote violence, hatred or the suffering of others.” OpenAI utilizes safeguards that prevent the generation of “violent, adult, or hateful content.” OpenAI/DALL-E 3 “has mitigations to decline requests that ask for a public figure by name” and is “designed to decline requests that ask for an image in the style of a living artist.” https://linktr.ee/help/en/articles/9269822-ai-features-on-linktree?lid=g3hnv8kr9765
