Neo-Nazi Jake Lang again chased out by hundreds of anti-fascist locals who mobilized against a white supremacist rally.
A lot just happened. Police cleared an exit for Lang and his group, who left in a large caravan. A cop in riot gear pushed at least one person hard to the ground in the process. Someone, not sure if police or one of Lang's, sprayed people with mace.
Hearing reports of arrests but can't confirm atm.

No court mandate or amount of social pressure can force someone to be rehabilitated. They have to be committed to changing on their own.
I'm also sick of so much more care being shown for rapists than their victims.

Seeing all this discourse surrounding rapists and rehabilitation. As someone who works in transformative rehabilitation for people exciting the far-right as well as being a survivor, I have a lot of opinions on this. However, it boils down to just two things:

When I hear ppl saying cops should have access to surveillance tools they will definitely abuse in a way that puts all women and girls at risk bc "just think of the crime they solve", I think of The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas by Ursula LeGuin.
