I'm dead excited about playtesting my new game, The Custom of the Sea. Here's some reasons you should also be HYPED.

If enough diagnosed people with ADHD tell you that you have ADHD then that should count as a diagnosis, imo.

Today I learned that “Greased Lightning” was an early 19th century neologism and now I need a Regency period Grease remake. The more I think about it the more it works.

Spoiler: the answer is capitalism! And sand. Also this is my home town, which is lovely except for the many steadily-deepening dips in the roads which may or may not open a passage to hell at any moment. We try not to think too hard about them.

One of the things I love about where I live is that people do give a shit about the community and there are lots of groups doing good work - litter picking, planting flowers, feeding the homeless, providing social spaces for folks isolated by mental illness. I need to get back into volunteering 🤔
I feel that the social contract broke, and I'm not sure if it'll ever be fixed again. The lack of basic things, the propaganda, the constant fight for survival has turned most people to only looking for themselves.
I feel this much deeper than a lot of people, I think, because of my upbringing.
