Also! I hate how every year there are more people I liked who have died. Getting older is bullshit, but it’s better than not. Still. I would have liked more time on the planet with some of these folks.

This year at the Emmys is really satisfying for my tastes. We were talking about Noah Wyle earlier. He got arrested for protesting for disability rights some time ago. Obviously, big fans over here.

I guess I have opinions about the Emmys.
I don’t really watch movies that get awards. I watch superheroes and rom-coms and things that rarely get acting awards.
But TV? I watch that! And this year it seems like I have watched more things nominated than the average year. So this is fun.

More food recalled. This is currently only local to New York City.
So far no one has reported getting sick. They turned up listeria while swabbing the facility and have acted on that knowledge. This is what the regular testing is supposed to do, find contamination before it makes people sick.

I am at the fair today. First thing, donut for breakfast! The line seemed long but it just kept moving and only took a few minutes. My dad would have loved these. It’s like a giant Krispy Kreme but *much* nicer dough.
