I really had no idea how bad this arm surgery would wipe me out. My legs and back are burning like I've run a dozen marathons. Two hours of naps so far.

ZOMG. The pain - not in my surgical zone, but *everywhere else.* My abs from the post-anesthetic puking. My back from being contorted and jerked around into position, plus my usual 80-year-old-trapped in-a-41-year-old body joint pain.
Oy vey.

Proof of life! Founder and co-host @bychasemcp.com had rotator cuff surgery earlier today. He's back home, resting, and the pills should be kicking in riiiiiight about now. Still planning on a show this weekend!

I'd love to hate watch tonight's #bb28 but I have shoulder surgery at 530am, so gotta hit the hay now. Hopefully I'll be lucid enough later in the day to say hi.

One of the issues I have with the #BigBrother board game is that there are 144 individual pieces not including the voting box, cards, and the board itself, and they are very easily disturbed, jostled, and thrown about in the box and in need of putting back in their place.

Today/tomorrow's gonna suck. Shoulder surgery got moved up so I've got to be at the hospital by 5frickin30 in the morning. Sleep's hard to come by in the first place. I guess if I can look forward to one thing it's being knocked out lol x)

Part of the problem with this rotator cuff injury is that I've woken up every night - EVERY night - since April after only 3-4 hours of sleep. Hopefully after the surgery and the first few sessions of physical therapy I can get back on track with that.

I'm going in for rotator cuff surgery on Monday. Relatively minor, and I'm scheduled to start physical therapy the very next day. If all goes to plan we'll be recording another @ourhomegame.bsky.social the following Saturday. I may be in a sling, but it shouldn't affect what we're planning.
