cw: pet difficulties.
Will likely have to put my cat to sleep today. Will likely be putting up some sort of fundraiser for just… all the problems I’ve been dealing with lately.
All I ask is that you check in on me please. Like any sort of support is appreciated.

Crazy day for me. I had an interview for a potential 6 figure job??? and as I was in that screening call, my phone was blowing up from Destiny being revived.

Finally got around to watching the beginning of Ted Lasso season 4. Man, I probably need to write a video about how that show means the world to me, and how it feels like it still always gets me.

It's all fun and games till the entire groupchat pings you to apply for the job.
This InfoWars caper is going a little too well. We need to staff up a bit.
We're hiring a Social Media Lead, who will help make InfoWars the network of the future. We need someone who is extraordinarily online, has big ideas for how things break through in 2026, and can pull those ideas off quick.

As with all of these bundles, there is more than likely one game here that you will play to completion, that is worth the price of the bundle.
In response to the unprecedented number of game developers laid off this year, we have created a bundle on itch to benefit a Game Industry Hardship Fund, managed by @videogameworkers.bsky.social. More than 100 games for 10+ bucks! Please share widely and donate generously!

Splatoon Raiders ROCKS. It takes the bones of Splatoon's single player and Salmon Run and adds in some minor looter shooter elements and long term progression. This turns it into an incredibly unique action rpg. Very high up in the Switch 2 library for me.

Instead of posting the GDQ crush meme, I'm gonna give you all the last part of this random missed connection story:
(Other person censored for privacy purposes)
This is still the very strangest story I've probably ever had, happy finale you all!

Gamers, in the strangest missed connections of me not being at #SGDQ2026, I have been asked if I was single, despite not being there
anyways, if you were playing cards with my friend Dez at the event like an hour ago, uh, hi?

Word I keep landing on for that Direct was “solid.” The floor was higher than the other showcases in terms of consistently solid reveals, but the ceiling was definitely not hit in terms of stop the presses kinds of releases. RPG fans are eating, but not much beyond the immediate summer releases 1/2

Solid Xbox Show. I do think that exclusives coming back to Xbox will help like.... some part of the industry. Solid reveals too, albeit a good bit of stuff that's already been announced. Obviously Persona 4R and 6 are my highlights, but a decent mix of stuff.

Oh no. Revival looks excellent. Like... substantially better first impression than 3 Reload for me. Also, Marie being there is interesting, given how The Answer was handled in 3 Reload.
