Doomerism, properly speaking, is insisting he'll win and it's all futile when there are still many reasons to doubt that. That there's no limit to what he might *try* to do is just cold hard objective reality. After Jan 6, no argument along the lines of "he wouldn't go that far" has any credibility.

I keep reading NYMag articles about sororities, and it’s like reading about another planet. My college experience was nothing like this. (I was not in a sorority and did not go to a school where Greek life was a big thing.)

Symbols matter. White House isn't a palace. Kennedy Center is for the general public to enjoy. We don't have a triumphal arch in DC because that's imperial. We don't put the president's face on money because it's monarchical. It's about tearing down everything that says we're a democratic republic.
I know there’s a savvy take that being attached to the east wing or the kennedy center is a sort of west wing lame-o attachment to the symbols of power and on the other hand
