Neighbors have reached out to my office about this abandoned house that was dilapidated, with a pool in the backyard with stagnant water. I'm happy to share that thanks to the hard work of my office and the City Attorney’s office, this home has been beautifully remodeled and put on the market!

With the National Weather Service issuing a heat advisory, the City of Sacramento will activate the Outreach and Engagement Center (OEC) and the North 5th Street Navigation Center as cooling centers where residents can find relief from the heat.

Update on the industrial park fire last night. Sacramento Fire crews were on top of it!

After Fire isolated the site and monitored the air, there were no more safety concerns. Roads were reopened this morning.
