Update on talking cat: Evie used the "help" button for the first time today. I was confused because until now, every button push has been a variation on "play." But she wanted me to open the window for her! She actually did need help! So proud of her for using her words 😻
We're trying to train our new cats to talk using buttons. There's 3 that my cat Evie uses consistently: play, pets, and all done. Just now, she walked in, hit "all done," then went and laid in her bed. I've never felt closer to her 🤣

I'm watching Legends of the Hidden Temple, and I feel so bad for the kids who lose. Their little faces are so disappointed! Then they're like "you're not going away empty handed, you get a gift!" And it's like, a box of nerds or a yoyo 🤣😭 Watching this as an adult just hits different 🤣

There have been 6 water main breaks since Jan. 31 in NOLA, and 12 boil water advisories this year so far. When I tell people that the infrastructure in NOLA is so much worse than Cleveland, some think I exaggerate. I don't lol

This is the first year where I truly felt in my bones that "everywhere else, it's just a regular Tuesday." Bradley & I celebrated, but no one else around me cared. I don't actually miss Mardi Gras for a lot of reasons, but it's definitely weird (& wonderful) how contained it is! ⚜️
