This feels a bit convenient honestly. I will be shocked if this is true, at no point have I ever got the impression that we want to do that, let alone need to do that. It smacks of trying to unsettle us before a season defining couple of games. #saintsfc

Undone ultimately by individual quality and it took their first team to beat us. It stings right now, but when we look back, we will see a team who left everything on the pitch. 115 charges and they can only scrape past little old #saintsfc well played boys.

Excellent resilience today. Ground out a win, promotion form is getting a win out of games like today. Autos not out of the realms of possibilities and a 5 point gap to Wrexham. Them lot down the road and Danny Ings doing us favours too. #saintsfc

How can anyone think playing 5 at the back works for us. Just look at how much more positive the last couple of games have been. A bit hairy at times, but 3 points and a clean sheet on the road is great. ##saintsfc

Get rid of 3 CBs. A new GK and striker in January and then we limp through to the end of the season. Tonda's inexperience is showing and this is exactly why I was against appointing him permanently. These players obvs need a firm hand to get the best out of them. #saintsfc

Gavin Bazunu is so bad. I genuinely can't fathom how the board thought going into the season again with Baz and Macca was a good idea. Tonda should never have been given the job, we needed experience more than anything. We don't deserve anything this season. Embarrassing honestly. #saintsfc

I really need to know what happened with Will Still. I was so optimistic about him as a gaffer but clearly something big was happening behind the scenes. We do have to be careful because I don't think it's a Tonda masterclass, more of a reflection on Still. #saintsfc
