So, AI is not going to eat your cats nor take over the world or cause human extinction. Why because AI is dependent on DATA centers and water to cool the data centers and power to run all three.
Human review of flagged or submitted chats for safety/training is standard across platforms (via explicit feedback/reports), but random people aren't just reading your live private chats.

I have a strong feeling that ChatGPT going public could seriously slow down the development of AI. If the product becomes more expensive, as I expect, because of investors’ greed, many people will simply stop using it — and I’ll be one of them again.
