Comics, books, and general nerdy stuff.
I thought whelmed meant apathetic. Anyway, I’ll describe my feelings about the Doomsday trailer as meh. Nothing in it excited me. I am actually infuriated by how little I’ve gotten to see Shuri and Shang Chi since the films they starred in. These characters deserved so better.

Louis’ desperation for family has been the driving force behind probably 99% of his actions on the show. It’s heartbreaking, but the most moving aspect of the show for me #iwtv #thevampirelestat #louisdepointedulac

On ep 1 of season 5 of #TheBear and hoping Syd is treated better this season. I never thought that much about the enshittification of restaurants. I should’ve considering we notice it with fast food restaurants like Panera and Chipotle. The money issues in the show present an interesting challenge.

Late to watching ep 3 of #TheVampireLestat but I love Louis so much! ❤️ Jacob Anderson does such a great job portraying him and his multitudes. I would gladly take a whole season of him vampire hunting.

#cashqueen #leslionnes was surprisingly enjoyable! I laughed out loud quite a few times and it was moving at times, as well. I loved the music! I wish we got more of Alex’s story, but overall, I was riveted. Binged it in 1 day.

This song (and SHINee’s EP) is my favorite kpop release this year by far! I love this song so much! 💚

This didn’t do my favorite things w/the queer rep, but overall I enjoyed the vol 1 & 2 of this series. In this comic a group of minor criminals team up to hunt down the bad guy that killed the boy wonder before his mentor comes after them. Art was fun & it was surprisingly diverse #comics #booksky

Doing a rewatch and I forgot how much I loved Louis’ speech at the end of S2E1
“If you were the last vampire on earth, it would be enough.”
Jacob Anderson deserves an Emmy. #iwtv #interviewwiththevampire #louisdepointedulac

This was the most hopeless book I’ve read in quite some time. It’s not the authors fault, of course. I finished this feeling quite doubtful that this country will ever make any progress away from bigotry and feel the need to seek out some hopeful media immediately. #booksky #nonfictionbooks

A plan to boycott DC comics bc of their lack of Black led series 👀 I unintentionally contributed bc I refuse to read comics that don’t interest me and I noticed the lack of Black faces as well. The last time they consistently had multiple Black led comics IMO was Future State #dccomics

Seriously, Lim Ji-yeon is nailing this role! She’s so effortlessly funny. I’ve always been impressed by her work, even in dramas that didn’t quite work for me. I’m on ep 3 and really enjoying #MyRoyalNemesis so far

I knew from the trailer this was going to be up my alley! It’s only been the first 15 minutes and I’m invested! I love the lead actress! #myroyalnemesis #kdramas
