Hello. This is D'arcy and Haurchefant, as commissioned from @cloverscouts.bsky.social and @hamstrhammy.bsky.social. I have written oodles of Haurchefant POV fanfic about them on AO3. D'arcy enjoys climbing his Elezen husband like a cat tree.

archiveofourown.org/works/50468329

A Miqo'te (man with cat ears and a cat tail) embracing a tall Elezen (elf-like man) in a manner that suggests the elf man has been climbed like a cat tree.

A tall Elezen (elf man from video game FFXIV)) in armour, embracing a Miqo'te (man with cat ears and tail), gazing lovingly at each other as though they have just shared a kiss.

So, this year was my first #FFXIVwrite ever! I completed all 26 prompts on time (using a make-up day for one of them).

Stats: Around 30k words, so an average word count of about 1,100 words per writing day!
Highest day: 3,255
Lowest day: 213

You can definitely see how I was losing steam, haha.

A line graph showing, from left to right, word count stats over 26 writing days. Extremely variable, with lower wordcounts trending more commonly in the last third of the month.

Haurchefant clenching his fist with a frustrated expression, saying "Yet I was forced to wait — condemned to wonder at the fate of a dear friend for a veritable eternity!"

Behind him my wol is looking at him with big sprakling eyes, thinking "Dear friend…"

Skeb style comm for @cassaclyzm.bsky.social of their WOL and Haurchefant. Thank you for commissioning me! #FFXIV #FF14 #HaurcheWOL #Commission #SoupArt

Sketchlike drawing commission of a miqo'te (a catlike race from the game Final Fantasy XIV) Warrior Of Light, and Haurchefant, (a male elezen NPC from the same game) sitting together on what seems to be the ground. The miqo'te is looking fondly over at Haurchefant with fondness in his eyes while the latter excitedly talks about something or other. The two sit pressed together, the miqo'te's tail wrapped around Haurchefant's forearm in affection.
