Change of profile name due to my change in circumstances. Chosen what my eldest grandson calls me. He always makes me smile.
Took delivery of a box of files. It’s the family history that my cousin worked on for nearly forty years. I’m looking forward to going through it but don’t want yet. Thank you Cousin Dave. You are so missed but I promise I’ll look after it all and have already told my daughter that it’s her’s next.

Not often I cry over a celebrity’s death but #DollyParton was SO special. The world is definitely not as bright & sparkly without her in it. She was so much more than a country singer & did so many good things.

My lovely big Cuz David @davwav.bsky.social lost his short battle at about 8.15pm tonight. I spoke to him earlier & know he’s going to find my Mom, Dad & brother & be with them. Until we meet again one day Cuz, I love you and will miss you so much. 😢 💔

Something very upsetting has happened today. A hospital dr rang me to tell me my wonderful cousin will not likely last the night. The hospital is about 4 hours away & I’m unable to get to him. My Cuz is 1 of the few contacts I have on here. I’ve shed lots of tears & contacted everyone I needed to.

Very worried about my eldest son tonight. I’ve been at hospital with him after a cricket injury to his eye. He’s been blue lighted to another hospital & about to go in for urgent eye surgery to stabilise his eyeball. He’s so frightened. So am I for him. 😢
