Spammers and scammers initiate out-of-the-blue Telegram chats with nothing more than "Hi"
I guess if they went right into their scam pitch they'd be filtered out by anti-spam measures. Some of them are; their accounts get deleted before I have a chance to block them.
I block without replying.

It's that establishing of the hierarchy. They're above you and they're making you feel it. From that point on you'll both know where you stand. Someone else who'll do more than just tease.
