City workers uncovered a Columbian Mammoth tusk five years ago in Corvallis. Now it sits on display at the public library as a reminder of the history lurking beneath us.
Prehistoric pedestrians once walked 9th Street in Corvallis. Now, you can see proof at the library
The mammoth tusk is now on display at the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library in a custom case built by the Highland Woodshop, and community donations to buy the materials.
