🎮 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗮 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲?

For me, Mass Effect 2. The first time I played it, I got so absorbed that I played for 8-10 hours straight without even realizing how much time had passed.
What's yours?

I want to play Wolverine, Pragmata, & about 15 other games.
But I'm also perfectly happy playing Sly Cooper, Ape Escape, & other games I've missed via PS+
Gaming is expensive. I don't need to play everything the day it comes out.

Crazy that tomorrow is the 200th episode of Midlife SideQuest. So super grateful to everyone who has listened to this old tired nerd blab into a microphone over the past 13 years.

🎮 I'm probably not buying Wolverine anytime soon.
The QTEs, handholding and difficulty don't look like the Insomniac experience I expected.
But I'm not writing them off. They've earned enough goodwill from me to wait for patches and a sale.
Disappointed? Absolutely. Done? Not even close.

After wrapping up Platinum #76 with Star Wars Outlaws I think my next adventure is gonna finally be Control.
Timely with reviews for the sequel hitting today, & it's a game I've always wanted to try but just never found the time. It was given away on PS+ awhile ago, so the time just feels right.

🎮 I spent years chasing the newest releases, never catching up
So I decided to try something different.
I'm playing through gaming history before buying most new releases, & it's been one of the best gaming decisions I've ever made.

AOC: I said this a couple of weeks ago: I would not be surprised if, when ICE funding started up again, we would start to see more civilian deaths at the hands of ICE. And that’s exactly what has happened.
We didn’t see things like this happening with the same degree when we froze ICE funding.
