Good deal. Relatively cheap for one of the best lineman in the league last year.

The reviews used to justify this excluded nearly 97% of all studies from inclusion in their analysis. This is an absolutely obscene hatchet job by the NHS specifically created to eliminate access to hormones for trans youth.

ian huntley is dead. i'll always remember how the british press attempted to incite hatred against the trans community by reporting he was transitioning, then apologised to him for incorrect reporting instead of apologising to trans people

Meanwhile, disappointment at the top and bottom of the grid:

McLaren and Ferrari nowhere near as close as they would have hoped.

Similarly Alpine and Haas, who were predicted to be at the top of the midfield, found themselves behind Racing Bulls and Audi.

Fascinating first qualifying of the year. Clear that, at least right now, Merc have at least half a second on the field.

Very impressed by Hadjar, Lindblad and Bortoleto, the new generation have definitely arrived.

Finally finished Drive to Survive. Comfortably the worst season yet. Pretty sure the drivers all hate it now, and the only people who like playing up to the cameras are the team bosses. So it’s all Flávio, Toto, Christian and Zak. Boring.

Horrifying to think that someone who works at Social Security Scotland likely leaked this information to the press. This country is not a safe place for disabled people.

Meanwhile in the Labour Party, Joani Reid quite rightly has nothing to answer for unless the police say she’s involved.

But I’m sure it won’t cause a minute of reflection to how the media and opposition reacted to the blue tent.
A Labour MP has been suspended from the party while an internal investigation takes place after her husband was arrested on suspicion of spying for China.

Joani Reid has said she “voluntarily” suspended herself from the Labour whip “until internal investigations are concluded”.

The dire state of our media, and societal understanding of disability, on full display here.

I’ve been keeping a list of the things this story means disabled people aren’t supposed to do:

Go on holiday, put on makeup, film a TikTok, stand for election…

It goes on.
BREAKING

SNP candidate Sally Donald, who previously joked about being on the SNP 'gravy bus', has announced she will no longer run for her party in the Holyrood 2026 election amid an investigation into disability benefit claims

When wrestlers have actual employment rights I’ll worry about “poaching”. You can’t poach an independent contractor!
Ahhh poaching discourse on a Thursday I see. These wrestlers all have a choice to go where they want. Spare me the poaching bull shit 🤼

Surely this should be bigger news than the SNP changing out one of their candidates in Edinburgh?
Tonight was one of the worst fascist protests we've seen in Aberdeen recently. Completely uncontrolled by police, fascists chased down multiple groups of asylum seekers who were trying to return home. We had to funnel them through our protest area to keep them safe. Which upset the far right.

This discourse on self-diagnosis is why the neurodivergent community needs to stand with the whole LGBT community.
Trans kids don't "self diagnose" any more than a depressed kid who tells their therapist "I'm depressed."

The kid saying it isn't the final word, but it is part of understanding what's going on with the kid, and probably accurate in most cases bc kids know what these words mean.

Seriously thought, what a mess Highguard turned out to be. Four years of development, and it ends up being live for six weeks before being erased from history. It shouldn’t be allowed to happen.
