i think i'm gonna make a commitment to make a tiny cookbook of my safe foods and comfort meals and release it for free.
I intend to add a bunch of illustrations. i had such a good time making them for the nier cookbook zine that i wanna keep it going.
You can hold and pester me about this.

This. Giving the franchise publicity via fanart keeps it relevant -> the hag earns money -> the hag uses the money to harm real people. Let it fade into obscurity where it belongs
Sorry for the VERY personal thread here but I'm going to share this as a personal boundary since apparently it's an art trend now.
I will be unfollowing those who make Harry Potter based content/art. I apologize because I'm normally draw as you will, but this is a hard line.
More details why 👇

everyone wants to tell artists what to do and i wish we could shift to telling audiences what to do sometimes. if you liked webcomics that were on tapas, follow somewhere else. learn to use RSS. don't let the seamlessness of apps turn your brain into soup. you can change your habits

Hey I think it should be said with the next round of "Discord age verification" scares and panic coming around
Do NOT drop everything and run to a website you heard about 30 min ago and had not looked into at all
The amount of vibe coded slop preying upon people's worry is alarming

Your website should be your ol’ reliable for your comic, your place you can call home. Social media and “webtoon” platforms should be used for crossposting and nothing more! They should never be trusted, they can always disappear tomorrow, but with a website your comic has a safe consistent home!
