i do enjoy writing 3000 word pieces on games and the impression they left on me... it's a good alternative to doom-scrolling or trying to squeeze my thoughts into segmented, tiny chains of text posts which then leave out most of my reasoning

It tends to get swallowed up in the enormous franchise it became, but I truly believe that his original manga can provide a valuable lesson to artists about process and work and improvement over time.

The main story dumbs down the difficulty so much, it lets you see enemies on the map and hands out a dozen revives and stat boosters in easy missions
Then you hit postgame and it enemies are 20 lvls ahead and cannibalize each other to kill you immediately
