I've worked on 3 DOJ investigations into Medicare/Medicaid Fraud over the past year and have found zero instances of malfeasance. The majority of the issues stem from how complicated the system has become, but administrators spend a lot of time correcting these mistakes. It's not fraud.

I'm an attorney and have worked on multiple DOJ investigations into healthcare fraud recently and I can confidently say there is not a fraud, waste and abuse issue in the healthcare system. At least not based on the investigations. This is another talking point the media fell for.
