Every time some pundit claims that no one would work if their basic needs were met, I think about how, after he retired, my dad would just show up at estate sales with his truck and offer to help folks take their furniture home because he just wanted to keep busy and be around people.

I'm a firm believer in that your labels are more useful if you treat them as shorthand to convey things you want other people to know/understand and so sticking with lesbian is clear about my desire to just talk about/date ladies and I don't really wanna talk about men outside of ppl im v close with

Two things I want every newly out or young transfem to know
1) HRT is literally puberty. That means it's a roughly 10 year long process. You might see results early, you might see them late, but it will work.
2) there is no healthcare pioneered for trans ppl. All trans healthcare is also cis care

btw any cis gals who follow me or just anyone who has pain during sex especially due to tightness: you might have vaginismus! It's treatable! Sex should not be causing you pain like that and I've seen far too many gals posting about it being inevitable!
To elaborate that second point: yes that includes vaginoplasty and dilation. That includes breast augmentation. That includes HRT. Every single aspect was pioneered for cis people first and foremost and we've adapted it. That means you have more in common with cis women than you think
