I think something to consider here is that Collins voted to confirm Russ Vought as OMB Director despite the fact that he said a billion times that he thought Trump had a constitutional right to illegally impound funds, and now she’s doing shocked Pikachu reactions.

This story is pure rage-bait to anyone under 50. A couple enjoyed a multi-million dollar windfall, essentially through dumb luck as property prices rose, and now get a dedicated CBC story to complain about how that might be slightly dampened due to new affordable housing.

I note also that this made it through committee of adjustment even before recent high-profile incidents where housing advocates had to publicly name and shame the COA for swerving out of its lane to thwart city policy, suggesting this was a pretty straightforward application.

This is the whole reason why changing the clocks twice a year is a good idea.
